Roster history

Every Cambridge School Committee since the 2018 term — 5 terms, 20 people. Six members are elected in November of odd years and seated the following January, for two years; the Mayor sits as the seventh.

By member

Longest service first. A member who filled a seat mid-term is counted for that whole term.

Where this comes from

Membership is drawn from the roll calls in the committee's own minutes: each term's roster is the set of members recorded voting. Who presided is read from the titles the minutes give them. Until 2026 the Mayor chaired the committee and it elected a Vice Chair from among its members; the city's new charter makes the Mayor an ordinary member, and in 2026 the committee elected its own Chair.

Thinner than the council's roster, which carries the date each seat was taken and left. The minutes before 2019 are not online, so terms earlier than 2018 are not shown here at all.
