The appropriation of a Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) grant in the amount of $29,000.00 to the Grant Fund Human Service Programs Salary and Wages account ($11,764.00) and to the Other Ordinary Maintenance account ($17,236.00) and will be used for the Integrated English Literacy and Civics Education Program, and will provide an integrated education and training program for immigrant adults in the Metro North area who are interested in becoming home health aides
