Transmitting Communication from Louis A. DePasquale, City Manager, relative to the appropriation of a grant from the State Executive Office of Public Safety, Department of Fire Services, in the amount of $187,500 to the Grant Fund Fire Extraordinary Expenditures account which will be used for hazmat responders Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including respiratory equipment, chemical protective clothing, flash protection and gloves; decontamination supplies and detection devices; warrantees, calibration gasses and Confidence Tests for detection devices; research equipment to assist with identifying hazardous materials; and to repair or replace related equipment as needed
