Description: During the course of the school year, transfers between statutory categories may be necessary to meet the educational and operational needs of the School Department. The net effect of these transfers on the General Fund Budget is $0.

Transportation: To fund the increased costs for transportation for students experiencing homelessness, eligible through the McKinney-Vento Act. The requested transfers include a $322,825 increase to Other Ordinary Maintenance, funded by reductions in Travel & Training ($250,000) and Extraordinary Expenditures ($72,825).
