City Council go on record encouraging the MCCA to continue to negotiate this new agreement with 32BJSEIU and to make every effort to ensure that no officers employed by the MCCA are earning less than the prevailing wage rate for security officers at the MCCA set by the legislature in 2014, which is currently $14.10 for newly hired officers and $15.85 for officers with 6 months experience
