Asked the City Manager to instruct the City Solicitor, in conjunction with the urban forestry staff and representatives from the Public Planting Committee, to come back with information that would be beneficial to the City Council; said information being, but not limited to the diameter of protected trees, landmarking process, possibility of additional requirements in zoning and what is within the legal parameters to amend the Tree Protection Ordinance all with a view in mind to protect the City’s tree canopy
