ORDERED: That the City Manager be and hereby is requested to work with the Traffic, Parking and Transportation Department to develop a small business parking pilot that would allow temporary on-street employee parking during typical daytime operating hours. Variables to be considered may be: • A limit on the number of passes issued per business • Limiting the hours passes are valid to normal business operating hours, such as between 8:00 am-6:00 pm • Disallowing parking on certain streets that are already congested • A way to ensure that the pass is being used by the business/employee it was issued to; and be it further ORDERED: That the City Manager be and hereby is requested to report back to the Council in a timely manner.
