The appropriation of a Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) grant in the amount of $64,000 to the Grant Fund Human Services Salary and Wages account ($36,928) and Other Ordinary Maintenance account ($27,072) which will be used for the Integrated English Literacy and Civics Education Program, and will provide an integrated education and training program for immigrant adults in the Metro North area who are interested in becoming home health aides
