The appropriation of a Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) grant in the amount of $64,428 to the Grant Fund Human Services Salary and Wages account ($36,990), Other Ordinary Maintenance account ($27,118), and Travel and Training account ($320) for the second part of the Integrated English Literacy and Civics Education Program, and will provide an integrated education and training program for immigrant adults in the Metro North area who are interested in becoming certified nursing assistants or home health aides
