City Vaccine Update, cont’d

●Robust outreach by CPHD, Cambridge Community Corps, and City partners has been highly successful in vaccinating hard-to-reach and vulnerable populations (North Cambridge, unhoused community, disabled and low-income seniors, homebound). ●Continue to work with community groups, CET, Literacy Ambassadors, small business community. ●Clinicians Speakers Bureau: ○Haitian-Creole forum on Wed, May 19 ○Spanish speaking forum on Thurs, May 27 ●This will be a slow-moving process; people who are hesitant need to see and hear from trusted and vaccinated community leaders and friends. 8

State Opening Update

• Today, Gov. Baker announced that all remaining COVID-19 restrictions will be lifted effective May 29. • The Commonwealth’s face covering order will also be rescinded on May 29. • MDPH will issue a new face covering advisory consistent with CDC’s updated guidance • Playgrounds: There is no explicit requirement about playgrounds, but the state and City’s orders require masks outside for everyone 5 and older if they are unable to maintain 6’ social distance 9
