The appropriation of a Recycling Dividends Program Grant, received from, the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) in the amount of $110,500, to the Grant Fund Public Works Other Ordinary Maintenance account, these funds will be used for various City recycling programs including purchasing compost and recycle carts, conducting a waste characterization and increasing education on recycling
