ORDERED: Strategies in other municipalities include free metered and garage parking on Small Business Saturday, a municipal Small Business Saturday awareness and marketing campaign, and organizing City events in districts where small businesses are located; now therefore be it ORDERED: That the City Manager be and hereby is requested to work with the Economic Development Department, the Business Associations, and Cambridge Local First to create a Small Business Saturday strategy that increases traffic to our local businesses during the 2019 holiday season; and be it further ORDERED: That the City Manager report back to the City Council no later than July 2019.
